Unemployment is 20% lower under
Democratic Administrations that under Republican Administrations.
Average unemployment per year during Democratic Presidents: 5.03%
Average unemployment per year during Republican Presidents: 5.93%
Average unemployment under the Bush II administration: 5.19%
