Washington, D.C. – While politicians and pundits in Washington argue about red and blue, under Republican rule, the U.S. economy has dipped into one - the red. At least that is what official government data collected by the 21st Century Democrats suggests.

The 21st Century Democrats today launched a website, www.PresidentialData.org, in its campaign to educate voters on the Republicans less than adequate job of practicing fiscal responsibility and providing economic growth. The website provides an aggregate of data from myriad federal government publications that clearly indicates how Democrats have historically managed the economy better than the Republicans.

“There is a false perception among voters that Democrats are fiscally irresponsible,” stated Jere Glover, PresidentialData.Org Project Director. “Democrats cannot not sit idly by and watch our party be unfairly characterized, especially during an economic and political period where change is needed.”

To address the ongoing exploitation and mischaracterization of Democrats, 21st Century Democrats has created an on-line community to provide support, answers, and resources about the true economic track record of both Democrats and Republicans. The site, www.PresidentialData.org, provides a quick and easy way for voters to get informed and make an educated decision in casting their vote this November.

“The data clearly shows that under the leadership of Democrats the U.S. economy has prospered,” stated Mark Lotwis, Executive Director of the 21st Century Democrats. “Consider that since World War II: jobs have grown 98 percent faster under Democratic Presidents than under Republican Presidents; eight of the last nine recessions have been under Republican Presidents; and the economy grows 41 percent faster under Democratic presidents. Given the current conditions of the U.S. economy American voters need this vital information to make the right decision when they cast their votes in the election this November.”
